Random acts of kindness focuse on the spirit of hope and goodness .They are a springboard for action.A time to be open ,to act upon thoughts of generosity that arise spontaneously from your heart.Just notice what happens as kindness ripples out !
A kind act is ''Random'' what it is unexpected-done simply out of the will to extend goodness, person to person ,without expecting anything in return.
A few years back about 5 years ago ,I was in an abusive relationship, unable to get out on my own .While attending a business conference in Dearborn,I met a man and became friends with him who has turned out to be the most important friend I have ever had.He knew a little ,if anything,of this relationship I was in .
One day ,for no apparent reason,he stopped ,gently took my arm ,looked me in the eyes and said ''Someday, someone will treat you as you deserve to be ,just let him'',than ,we walked on,nothing else being said .
In that time I was very tiered and think a lot about my life and my future what can I do to change my career.Thinking of those words I was finally, able to get the strength I needed to break from that abusive relationship, regain my self respect, and have now entered a healthy relationship.
When random acts of kind week came,I was so excited .The first random thing I did was to hug a friend .My friend asked me what the hug was for,and I just replied,''Does a hug need a reason ?''why can't it just be random and from the heart?
My friend told me that she never thought of it that way .I learned that in order for random act of kindness to work for me.I needed to step outside myself and think of others and enjoy the time I spend with them .I really came out of my comfort zone during the week, and I also made a few new friends!
so random acts of kindness week was really a two in one deal by being kind,I was rewarded with hugs, new friends, and the feeling a person gets when they give for no reason.Let me tell you ,that week was something else!
When I believe it because kindness is helpfulness towards someone in need ,not intern for anything, nor for the advantage of the helper himself, but that of the person helped. The most satisfying thing in life is to have been able to give a large part of one's self to others.

conclusion, the best way to help each other is by creating a change in yourself, by adopting a moral or ethical code of conduct that includes the concept of kindness and generosity. Of course, by parading the fact that you have a moral/ethical code can sometimes put into question how moral/ethical the code is.http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/AP/20050207/AP_on_re_us/Jewish_rescue_4
