My best place in the world

Today, my friend asked me what's the best place for me in the world. I said, I believe it is Iraq. I feel like I belong there because my mom, sisters, brothers,cousins, and best friends are there .I was born and raised in Iraq.It is a very religious and peace loving country.
I also like my mom's cooking because it has a very different taste.However, she made food really tasty but healthy. She knows best what I like and find delicious. No chemicals are used on any vegetables and fruits.They are 100% natural.People in there like fresh foods not frozen foods or dried foods.The most known Iraqin dishes are dwlma,teshreep,batiaand beryani.
The capital of Iraq is Baghdad. It is very big, and about 5,000 citizens live there. There are18 states and there are 2 rivers. They are called Dejla and Fourat.Some people speak Arabic ,turkish and other people speak Kerdish . A lot of the world's ancient treasures are placed in babylon. We also have mountains and deserts.
The weather is reasonable.It doesn't snow during the winter,and it gets extremely hot in the summer. People get used to it and they live based on it.People use fires to warm up during the winter. And they open their windows and doors during the summer for the air to move around.
In conclusion, I like Iraq for the simple life style. People are very helpful. Whenever they feel like anyone needs their help, they run for their rescue.There are so many memories to look back at. That is why Iraq is the best place in the whole entire world.

Senses essay

Everyday, I come home from work early in the morning and I go to bed. Whenever my kids are not at school and they are home, I don't sleep a lot. My son comes in my room and starts touching me to wake me up. He says "Dad can you help me with my game?". I can hear him, but I still feel sleepy. While he is waking my up, I smell some food, because my wife cooks between 12 and 2 everyday. She calls me to taste the food, and asks me if it's good or not, and I always say it's not good!

Some reason people read slowly is that they don't have confidence in themselves .They're not convinced that they understand what they're reading,so they read apassage several times,trying to make sure they haven't missed anything .But just like people who check that the front door is locked 15 times before leaving for vacation and still lie awake at night wondering if they locked the door ,reading and rereading apassage doesn't give you confidence that you understand the text .You get confidence from proving that you understand it.

The first thing we did as soon as we came to U.S.A. about two years ago was to search for an apartment in order not to live with one of our relative.After looking for one month to find a suitable apartment ,Ifinally found the apartment where we have been living.It includes a living room ,three bedroom ,and a kitchen.Probably the living room is my favorite room of all ,because we often gather together there after we come home from work or school .It is a comfortible room four our family.Entering the living room from the front door,we can see a new piano in the corner with a vase of colorful flowers on it. In the opposite corner stands a Sony television ,which I bought for my children to wach cartoons and for us to see films and get the Daily News.Besides,there is a sofa next to the piano.a love seat beside the T.V., and also a low table between them. This is a comfortable place to sit while we watch T.V. or talk.On one of the light blue wall is a tranquil picture of the sea . The floor is covered with a dark red carpet,which my children like to play on .They , also like to sit on it when they watch T.V. The large window is should by a light colored curtain , giving in the room a soft ,bright feeling .A ceiling fan with small light is hanging from the ceiling . Whenever the fan and lights are on , we can see dangle image which are reflect from the furniture in room .Generally ,our living room is a place where we receive our guests,gather together to discuss any topic, and enjoy our leizure time.
